Make a booking at Laburnum House Lodge in Highbridge for an unforgettable stay
Laburnum House is situated only 100 yards (70 metres) from the River Huntspill.
Built in 1940 and lying within a nature reserve, this 5 mile (7 km) long artificial river is famed for its abundant freshwater fishing. Bream and Perch are the most common fish to be found here, followed by Gudgeon, Ruffe and Carp. The Bridgwater Angling Association is responsible for administering fishing in this area; day and seasonal fishing licenses can be acquired in most local tackle shops at both Highbridge and Burnham.
